Made with Small Hands

Feature Documentary

Set in India, the film spotlights the lives of child labourers and connects them to people who are using these products around the world. India is the country touted to be the next Asian economic superpower. Its red-hot economy is showing remarkable growth, second only to its neighbour to the north, China. Yet, for all of the technological and social advancements made in the past two decades, India is a nation where child labour continues to thrive and flourish. Of the 246 million child workers worldwide, 127 million are in India. From the banana plantations to the soccer factories to the domestic servants, millions of children are working full time adult shifts without any access to education. For millions of children who toil in misery, public awareness at home and abroad is their only hope.
